Aiva Arquette scored from first base on a Gavin Turley double to lift Oregon State to a 4-3 walk-off win over Louisville on Friday night in front of 24,963 fans at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha.
Arquette singled with one out in the bottom of the ninth, an inning made necessary after Louisville (40-23) tied the game with two runs in the top half. Turley then jumped on the first pitch from Cardinals reliever Jake Schweitzer, sending a line drive down the left-field line. The relay throw was just late as Arquette slid home with the game-winning run.
