Penn State opens Big Ten Tournament with win: Photo Gallery

Penn State opened Big Ten Tournament pool play with a 5-3 win over Washington on Wednesday at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska.

A three-run sixth inning, highlighted by Bryce Molinaro’s two-run sac fly and Ryan Weingartner’s solo homer, broke it open. The Nittany Lions improved to 32-22, while Washington fell to 29-27.
